SAS says goodbye to 560 pilots in Scandinavia

In April, SAS announced the layoff of about 5,000 employees. 560 of them are pilots, writes SVT.

SAS says goodbye to 560 pilots in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. This is stated by the Danish Pilot Association’s Vice President Søren Saysette-Rasmussen for TV 2.

It is part of the savings plan announced in April as a consequence of the corona crisis.

Here, SAS announced that 5,000 – of which 1700 in Denmark – should be dismissed.
