Mette Frederiksen: No Christmas breakfasts this year
On Thursday, 760 new cases of infection were registered. Thus, Denmark, like other countries, is in a serious situation where there is a need to introduce new restrictions.
This is stated by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S).
– The corona is back. And we will introduce further restrictions, says Mette Frederiksen.
She points to the assembly ban as one of the areas the government is working on. Thus, the Danes must already now accept that traditional Christmas lunches can not be held this year.
However, Mette Frederiksen will wait with the details of the new interventions until the government is completely ready to announce. It is expected to happen within the next few days, but no time has been set yet.
