Hot start to Christ’s Ascension holiday, but cold front splits the holidays in two

Christ's Ascension holiday

Thursday and Friday look sunny with over 20 degrees, but the weekend gets cool with rain and showers.

Warmer weather is on the way, and the Ascension Holiday offers a couple of summery days before a cold front on Saturday breaks off the beautiful weather.

Ascension Day offers dry weather with some sun and temperatures between 16 and 20 degrees.

Friday can be the hottest day of the year

On Friday, even more heat is pumping up to Denmark, and we reach 22 or 23 degrees, the places it gets warmest. This can be the hottest day of the year. On May 10, 22.6 degrees were measured at Bornholm.

Then a cold front with rain must pass Denmark from the west. It happens the night of Saturday or during the Saturday. After that, the temperature drops significantly. There may be local thunder in connection with the front.
