Spotify music service is among the apps that are down on Friday.

If you would like to put on some music or watch a movie on Friday afternoon, you may be disappointed.

Applications like Spotify and Viaplay are down in several places in the world – including Denmark – writes The Mirror.

However, it is unclear what the big crash is due to.

Spotify: We are investigating the matter

The Swedish music service Spotify has announced on Twitter that they do not know the cause of the sudden crash, but that “something is not playing”.

They are investigating the matter, it sounds.

Spotify is the world’s largest music streaming service with its 286 million worldwide users, including 130 million paying subscribers.

Uncertainty about cause of crash

Several media outlets such as The Independent write that a host of other apps, including TikTok, Tinder and Snapchat, are also experiencing crashes.

There is uncertainty as to where the problem originated, but according to Aftonbladet , Facebook is currently investigating whether the problem may be associated with apps that interact with Facebook.
