Greta Thunberg After Isolation: Take Care And Stay Home

Greta Thunberg

The Swedish climate activist felt corona-like symptoms. So did her father.

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg now makes a call to her peers: Stay home and listen to the directions of the local health authorities.

It happens after she got symptoms that, according to Thunberg herself, were reminiscent of coronavirus, and then went into voluntary isolation after a trip to central Europe.

Many people, especially young people, do not feel symptoms at all, so they do not know if they have the virus and thus can infect others who are at risk. Os, who are not part of the risk group, have a huge responsibility.

– Our actions can be the difference between life and death for many. Please remember, follow the advice of the experts and authorities and stay home. And always remember to take care of yourself and those who need it, she writes in a post on her Instagram profile.

Dad traveled from Brussels

17-year-old Greta Thunberg writes in the post that she felt tired, had shakes and a sore throat, and she coughed. Her father, who traveled with her from Brussels, felt even more sick. His symptoms were more intense and he had a fever, she writes.

Everyone who feels sick has been told to stay home and isolate themselves. Therefore, I have not been tested for Covid-19, but it is very likely that I had it when thinking about the symptoms and circumstances.

And that’s the essence of the matter! I almost didn’t notice it. My previous cold was much worse than this. If not someone else had had the virus at the same time, I would have thought I was more tired than usual and had a bit of a cough, she writes.

So far, the Swedish authorities have found 36 coronary deaths. A total of 2,272 people have been found infected, writes SVT.
