Zoos Will Reopen May 1st – Ahenfo Radio Denmark

This is stated in the Copenhagen Zoo in a press release.

From May 1, it will again be possible to visit the zoos in Copenhagen, Aalborg, Odense and Givskud. This is according to several of the gardens in a joint press release.

The zoos closed on March 18 as a consequence of the authorities’ efforts to contain the coronavirus infection in Denmark.

However, the four zoos have had the National Police’s acceptance open as long as they follow the demands of the health authorities.

A safe walk to the zoo

In a joint press release, the zoo writes:

We are already in full swing at the four zoos to ensure that all requirements and recommendations from police and health authorities are complied with so that you can have a safe trip to the zoo.

In addition, we will also be in constant dialogue with the authorities, so that we adjust the situation as the guidelines change.
