The Corona crisis has consequences for the Queen’s summer trip.
Queen Margrethe cancels the planned summer trip with the Royal Ship Dannebrog in late summer.
That is what the king’s house writes in a press release, citing the Corona crisis.
The queen is scheduled to visit Thisted on 31 August, Esbjerg on 1 September and Fanø on 2 September.
But as the situation looks at this time, with the country still subject to restrictions and the risk of spreading coronavirus, those plans are now being postponed to next year.
Plans are being pushed
The royal house has already canceled the summer trip to Aarhus and Anholt, which was to be held in June.
The hope is that the Queen will be able to visit Aarhus and Anholt in the early summer of 2021, while the visits to Thisted, Esbjerg and Fanø will be postponed until late summer 2021.
