The rainy weather begins Tuesday night and is expected to be the rainiest since early June.
There is good reason to find the rainwear and maybe also the rubber boots. While the last few days have offered showers, a nationwide rainfall awaits, which on average is expected to give 20 millimeters of rain.
The above forecast shows that large parts of Jutland will receive between 20 and 30 millimeters of rain and the islands generally between 10 and 20 millimeters. The rain comes in connection with a strong low pressure that moves right over Denmark.
The last time we had a rainstorm comparable to this was July 4th and 26th. Here, 17.5 and 12.2 millimeters of rain fell nationwide, respectively.
Beautiful start to Tuesday, but fierce weather for the evening
Tuesday begins quite nicely with sunshine and temperatures rising to about 20 degrees in the early afternoon. Later in the afternoon it will start to rain in Jutland, and during the evening the rain will cover the whole country. The wind will increase with gale force winds, and the rain will in places be accompanied by thunder.
