Peter Madsen has been driven away by the police after an unsuccessful escape attempt where he made bomb threats against the police.
The police reported at 13 o’clock that Madsen had been arrested and driven away. The escape attempt triggered a large-scale police operation in the Danish Albertsund.
Several Danish media report that 49-year-old Madsen is said to have threatened the police with a bomb-like object during the escape attempt from Herstedvester prison.
Madsen, who was previously known as a rocket inventor, was sentenced in 2018 to life in prison for killing Wall.

Pictures from the place showed that the inventor convicted of murder this morning sits calmly at the roadside, with large police forces around him.
According to a journalist from Ekstra Bladet, Madsen had a belt-like object around his stomach.
Dog patrols and the police bomb squad were in place to try to control the situation. The bomb squad has its own remote-controlled bomber robot, which is used to neutralize explosives.
According to the Danish newspaper BT, Madsen is said to have said “I have a bomb” to the police.
He is also said to have said that he was in possession of a pistol-like object.
