Over 10,000 Deaths From The Coronavirus In France

Corona Virus

Around 81,000 people have died in the world and over 1.4 million people have been infected by the coronavirus.

Europe is severely affected, especially Italy and Spain, with deaths of just over 17,000 and nearly 14,000 people respectively.

Over 1,400 new deaths in France

Now the death toll in France – worst hit in Europe after Italy and Spain – has also passed 10,000.

About a third of them have died in nursing homes.

On Tuesday, another 1,427 people were found dead in the country, which is a significantly higher figure than the 833 people reported on Monday. 820 of these 1,427 people died in nursing homes, 607 in hospitals.

Tough restrictions in France

France is the fourth worst hit in the world, both in terms of the death toll and the number of people infected. The country has imposed severe restrictions to prevent the spread of infection, among other things, curfews are at least until April 15. Military patrols the streets to ensure that people do not leave their homes without valid reasons – such as getting to work or visiting grocery stores or pharmacies.

Drones and helicopters have also been used to ensure that people do not visit places to stay.
