More Sun: Up To 20 Degrees In The Coming Week

Greece And Turkey

The dry and sunny weather is expected to continue into the weekend.

After a windy Sunday with showers and cool May weather, there is a prospect of the last week of May being with both warmer and sunny weather.

It is a high pressure over the British Isles and the North Sea, which stabilizes the weather over Denmark.

The high pressure stays close to Denmark all week, but in periods weak fronts from the northwest can hit us.

Sunny start of the week

The week begins to cloud in many places, but clearing from the north spreads across the country during Mondays, giving a sunny start to the week with temperatures ranging from 15 to 18 degrees.

In addition, the wind decreases and turns north and northwest, so that especially late in the day you get nice spring weather in virtually the whole country.

The good weather continues on Tuesday, where the temperature can reach 20 degrees locally, before a weak front on Wednesday a transition can give more cloudy weather and refreshing winds from the northwest, which in North West Jutland can reach coal strength.

Wednesday’s temperatures probably don’t get much above 13 to 15 degrees.

Sunny and sunny for the weekend

After that, great spring weather is planned again. Although the forecasts slightly disagree with the weather trend towards the weekend, there are many indications that both Thursday and Friday will be two nice and sunny days, when the temperature will generally reach 15 to 18 degrees.

Both days, the thermometer can show 20 degrees of heat locally.

Watch out in the sun

In the mostly sunny weather over the coming week, be aware that the UV index is high.

A UV index of 5.5 is expected throughout the week.

If the UV index exceeds 3, it is recommended to protect themselves from the sun’s rays.

Although a warm and sunny ending awaits in May, there are many indications that May 2020 will be the sunniest in five years, and may well end up being the coldest since 2011.
