What has been a recommendation so far is becoming a requirement. From Friday, train crews will be wearing face mask.
DSB will require its staff to wear face mask on the train. The claim takes effect Friday morning at 6 p.m.
This is what DSB’s information manager Tony Bispeskov tells Politiken.
Until now, on Friday, DSB has contented itself with recommending that the staff follow the authorities’ recommendations – including the recommendation to use bandages in public transport when space became too cramped.
We have always supported the health authorities’ recommendation. The different thing now is that we do more than the recommendation.
– One might think that we should have done it from day one, but we have first and foremost leaned on the authorities and done what they recommended, says Tony Bispeskov to Politiken.
DSB also informs Politiken that train staff all over the country will be provided with face mask.
