Denmark temporarily stops flights from the United Arab Emirates – this is due to suspicion of negligence with tests in Dubai.
This is stated by the Ministry of Transport and Housing in a press release .
– We have previously seen mutations coming in via Dubai, and we can not ignore such a suspicion. Therefore, all passenger flights from the United Arab Emirates will be suspended for five days until it has been possible to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure that the negative test that is required is in fact a real test that has been carried out properly, says Minister of Transport Benny Engelbrecht.
The flight ban applies from tonight and for the time being for five days, until the Danish authorities have certainty that “the tests that are done are not sloppy and that false tests can not be bought”.
