Danish Crown closes slaughterhouse for at least a week after new cases of infection

The slaughterhouse has been at the center of a major coronavirus outbreak.

The Danish Crown slaughterhouse in Ringsted will be closed down for the time being for a week, after another 22 employees have tested positive for coronavirus. Thus, the total number of infected is up to 142 employees.

This is stated by the slaughterhouse in a press release.

At the same time, all employees must now assume that they are close contacts to infected people, which means that they are at risk of being infected with coronavirus.
