On Friday, we received for the first time a total figure for how hard the outbreak of coronavirus has affected the Danish economy.
Denmark’s GDP fell by as much as 7.4 per cent in the second quarter, according to Statistics Denmark. That is more than three times as much as in the darkest months of the financial crisis.
But that does not mean that we are also in the deepest crisis ever.
