90-year-old Margaret Keenan from Enniskillen in Northern Ireland has this morning at 7.30 Danish time become the first person in the world to have received a small dot with the new Pfizer / BioNtech corona vaccine – outside the test programs that had to be carried out before the authorities could approve vaccines .

– I feel so privileged to be the first person to be vaccinated against covid-19. It’s the best previous birthday present I could wish for, because it means I can finally look forward to spending time with my family and friends in the new year after being alone most of the year, Keenan said according to the BBC , when she got the historic dot at University Hospital in Coventry.
