In general, there is less money on the way for the rest of the royal family.
Queen Margrethe will be awarded almost DKK 90 million in 2021. To be precise, the amount is DKK 89.3 million.
It appears from the government’s proposal for a finance law , which Ritzau has seen, and which Finance Minister Nicolai Wammen (S) presents on Monday.
This year, the amount is DKK 87.6 million. So there will be a pay rise for the Queen if the government ‘s proposal is adopted.
Like this year, the amount includes an annual benefit of DKK 1.3 million for Princess Benedict. Thus, there is 88 million kroner left for the queen.
Less money for the rest of the royal family
In general, there is less money on the way for the rest of the royal family. It is expected to receive DKK 27.8 million in 2021 against DKK 29.8 million this year.
This is partly due to the fact that Countess Alexandra from 2021 will no longer receive an annual benefit of DKK 2.6 million.
