Over 900 New Deaths Recorded In The UK

The United States has noted its deadliest day to date with close to 2,000 deaths in the corona virus.

At the same time, the death toll in Spain has risen to 14,555.

In the UK, more than 7,000 people have now died in the corona virus.

On Monday, the daily figure for the number of covid patients in Spain was 637.

A cautious hope was spread about a turnaround, as the number of deceased had decreased for the second day in a row.

On Tuesday, however, the figure rose to 743 and on Wednesday the death toll increased again, to 757.

Over 6,000 new cases of infection have also been discovered in Spain since yesterday, Tuesday.

A total of 146,690 people have been confirmed infected.

Increase in Russia

Russia also reported increased numbers, with over 1,000 new confirmed cases of covid-19.

In total, Russia now has 8,672 cases, an increase of 1,175 since yesterday.

Another five people have died in covid-19: a total of 63 people.

The death toll also rises in the UK where 936 people died last day the highest daily rate so far, writes Mirror. A total of 7,167 people have died in the country.

In England, 828 patients have died in the virus around the clock, Sky News writes. At the same time, a study shows that Britain’s measures with a demand that residents stay at home have made an impact as there are signs that the spread is declining, Reuters writes.

The United States has recorded its deadliest 24 hour figure so far after 1,997 new deaths over the past 24 hours, the NY Times writes . A total of more than 13,000 have died in the country on Wednesday morning.
