25,000 hens have to be killed because a herd in Randers has been affected by the serious bird flu H5N8.

– An outbreak of bird flu in domestic herds is extremely serious for the herd and a threat to all owners of poultry herds, because the disease has a high mortality rate, says veterinarian at the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, John Larsen.
