Latest corona figures from Denmark and the world: So many are infected, dead and hospitalized

A forecast from the National Board of Health shows that when the corona epidemic peaks, the Danish capacity could reach 1260 respirators with everything that can be collected at private hospitals, at the Armed Forces and animal clinics.

Comparing our development with other countries, Denmark is closer to the South Korean graph than the Spanish or Italian. However, note that the countries do not calculate the number of deaths in the same way.

On March 12, the National Board of Health announced that they were switching from a containment strategy to a mitigation strategy, with tests being given priority to patients who are seriously ill. On April 1, they softened the strategy so that now patients with mild symptoms and employees in the elderly, social and health sectors who have a lot of patient contact can be tested on suspicion of covid-19.
