The electoral board has rejected that Lars Boje Mathiesen’s new party can be called Denmark’s Best Party.
The parliamentary politician states this in a video on Facebook .
– Yes, unfortunately as expected, the system is already fighting against us. They have therefore rejected our party name because, as they write, they think it is too good, the politician writes in the caption for the video.
Lars Boje states that he had also applied for the name Borgernes Parti, which has also been rejected.
The former short-lived chairman of Nye Borgerlige has said that the party, which also includes Kim Boye, known as “the mental warrior” on social media, must have a “power-critical approach to the elite”.
This includes, among other things, an already known proposal that politicians from the party may only be elected to the Folketing for a period of ten years.
In the video, Lars Boje Mathiesen does not discuss what will happen next for his party, which does not yet have an approved name, which means that voter declarations cannot be collected.
– We will come back strong, says the politician simply.
