On Monday, France reported 3,376 new corona infections in the last three days.
Thus, France has had 14,541 new cases of infection during the last 14 days. It gives an infection rate of 21.7 per 100,000 inhabitants.
On Friday, France had an infection rate of 19.8, according to the European Agency for Disease Control (ECDC).
At that time, the country was just below the limit of 20 per 100,000 inhabitants that the Norwegian authorities have set to avoid quarantine.
Developments over the last three days have now brought the country across the border.
