All Netto and Føtex stores close at 10 pm

The decision by Salling Group comes after it has been banned from selling alcohol at 10 p.m.

From Monday, all Føtex and Netto stores close at 10 pm.

This is confirmed by Salling Group to TV 2.

At the same time, the areas where alcohol is sold are closed off in the Bilka stores that have opened until 11 pm.

This happens after the government stated at a press conference on Friday night that from Monday it will be forbidden to sell alcohol after 10 pm in the retail trade as supermarkets and kiosks.

– Salling Group has made a quick decision, all Nettos and Føtexs close from 10 pm on Monday, while we, as in the old days, close off the alcohol area in Bilka, writes Per Bank, CEO of Salling Group, on Twitter .

Addition to closing rule

Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) made it clear at the press conference that the sale of alcohol will close at 10 pm on Monday.

In addition, the requirement for bars and restaurants to close at 10 pm has been extended to apply until 2 January 2021.
