After dialogue with the state authorities and the Ministry of Health and the Elderly, Mayor Jacob Bundsgaard has received a clear recommendation to cancel Aarhus Festuge’s events.
– This is the message we have been waiting for. We have received a clear recommendation to make a cancellation, and we will of course comply with that. It is the right decision in the current situation where the epidemic continues to reign in the city. With the clear recommendation from the health authorities, the decision is now made rather than awaiting the planned board meeting on Monday, says Mayor Jacob Bundsgaard in the press release .
