This happens after the number of corona infections in Denmark has increased.
Following an increase in the number of infections, Norway is tightening its travel guidelines and is discouraging travel to the Central Jutland Region and Region Zealand from 15 August.
This was stated by Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) at a press conference .
The announcement comes after the Norwegian National Board of Health, the National Institute of Public Health (FHI), yesterday recommended that Zealand outside Copenhagen and Central Jutland be added to the list of “red areas”.
Norway also advises against all unnecessary travel to Iceland, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Cyprus and the Faroe Islands, and six regions in Sweden.
According to the Norwegian Prime Minister, all Norwegians should consider all travel abroad carefully.
– All travel abroad is associated with a risk of infection – even travel to countries that do not trigger quarantine on return travel. Thus, there is no basis for calling any country green now, says Erna Solberg.
