Agreement: How to raise the assembly ban over the summer

summer

From July 8, the assembly ban will be raised to 100 people. It will rise again August 8 to 200.

The parliamentary parties agree that the assembly ban will be raised slowly over the summer.

It will be raised from 100 people on July 8, and again to 200 on August 8 for certain events.

This is stated by the Ministry of Justice in a press release .

It is gratifying that a party of the Parliament has now set a plan for a gradual and controlled easing of the assembly ban, said Justice Minister Nick Hekkerup (S) in the press release.

– This means that the assembly ban will be raised to 50 people from today. In a month we will raise that number to 100 and to August to 200 for certain organizers. If all goes well, he goes on.

All events where participants are most seated can be exempted if the organizer is covered by the so-called sector partnership guidelines.

According to the Ministry of Justice it can be if you have a birthday party at a restaurant.

Can be lowered again
However, according to the Ministry of Justice, if the contagion in the community flares up again, the ban on assembly can be lowered again.

And if we see that epidemic flares up again, a tightening of the assembly ban is one of the first things we want to look at, it sounds from the minister.

Discussions on raising the assembly ban are not yet complete.

– I look forward to the discussions with the parties on any further easing within defined areas, the minister said in press release.

Hekkerup refers to discussionsabout the number of spectators for super league matches. And about being able to hold private parties in commercial premises, such as weddings, until later than midnight.

Trials with football
The Minister of Culture, the Minister of Health and the Elderly and the Minister of Justice will convene the parties of the Folketing to discussions, if you can make a trial where you can play super league football with more than 500 spectators.

However, it requires the health authorities to find a sound way to do it.

– Based on the trial will the health authorities, the police and possibly other relevant authorities evaluate, whether it has been done in terms of health, writes the Ministry of Justice.

No date has yet been set for when the discussions will start.
