Danish Children Are Being Scammed For Thousands Of Dollars In Counter-Strike

TV 2 has been in contact with a handful of players in the age group of 14 to 23, all of whom have been cheated for over £ 1000 over the past few months. Typically, this is done by a buyer or seller using fake identity on Facebook. Once the money is transferred, the victims no longer hear.

The more rare a skin is, the more it is worth. In groups on Facebook, several thousand Danes sit every day and sell, trade or buy these skins .

One such is 18-year-old Gustav Reumert for example. He is currently in 3rd grade, but also spends some time selling and buying skins .

Recently, he was even scammed for 4,000 dollars by a foreign seller. Specifically, Gustav Reumert made the mistake of not checking the foreign user’s profile in the Counter-Strike platform, which showed that he was excluded.

It was expensive lessons, but does not scare Gustav Reumert away from the market. In his sabbatical, he plans to invest more:

Large investors earn large sums
