The indictment covers 97 pages in the case against the 34-year-old who is accused of assault.

111 aggrieved. Nearly 100 pages of indictment and 60 hours of video interrogation of minors.

So large is the scope of a case in which a 34-year-old man from Bramming is charged with, among other things, attempted rape and sexual intercourse other than intercourse.

He is also charged with unlawful coercion, indecency and possession of child pornography.

The case against the man has begun today at the Court in Esbjerg. The reading of the 240 charges alone is expected to take three hours.

According to the prosecution , the case is so extensive that it fills 22 ring binders, says Henning Fuglsang, who is a special prosecutor at the South and Southern Jutland Police.

– In many ways, this case is unusually extensive. We have a total of 111 victims, and we have a case that must run for at least 30 days, he says.

According to the indictment, the accused contacted the boys via the social media Snapchat .

Here he has pretended to be a girl of the same age , and in that way got several of the boys to send intimate pictures and videos of themselves.

Denies guilt – except child pornography charge

There have been cases in Denmark in the past where adults have contacted children via social media to commit abuse on minors, but according to the special prosecutor, such a large case as this has not been seen before here in Denmark.

The court in Esbjerg has been forced to rent a room in a nearby building, writes Ritzau.

– This is the most comprehensive case to date, in the time I have been President of the Court, says Margit Laub, who has been administrative head of the Court in Esbjerg since 2007.

The 34-year-old is accused of having groomed 111 underage boys from most of the country from 2016 to 2018.
