National Board

The general population is the last group to be vaccinated and is expected to be completed by week 25.

All Danes who accept the offer of the vaccine against coronavirus can be vaccinated with another vaccine no later than 27 June.

It appears from a vaccination calendar on the Danish Health and Medicines Authority’s website.

The announcement comes on the same day as Denmark has secured 3.9 million doses of coronavine vaccine, after the EU entered into a new agreement with Pfizer and BioNTech.

On Friday, figures from the Statens Serum Institut showed that at least 102,092 people have received the first of two doses of corona vaccines from Pfizer and BioNTech. That equates to 1.75 percent of the population.

The Danish vaccination program began on 27 December, and the inventory will run until Friday morning at 04.30. However, the figure is associated with uncertainty, as there may be delays in the figures, according to the Statens Serum Institut.

Director of the Statens Serum Institut, Henrik Ullum, is pleased that Denmark has passed 100,000 vaccinated.

– Great collaboration between the regions, the municipalities, the general practitioners, the National Board of Health and the Danish Medicines Agency, he writes on Twitter.
