Danish media must make “extra effort to be considerate” when the trial against the 32-year-old, who is accused, among other things, of the murder of Emilie Meng , begins in May.
This is what Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgaard (S) says in an interview with TV2.
He shares Børns Vilkår’s concern that violent details are being glossed over in the media.

In connection with the indictment against the 32-year-old, the Minister of Justice has considered changing the legislation that makes it possible for the media to attend court hearings and report from them. For now, however, the legislation will remain unchanged.
