Although more parishes are closed in Aalborg, so the infection has nevertheless spread in the city recently.
In particular, the infection has been traced back to the activities in Jomfru Ane Gade, also known as ‘Gaden’.
Today, it has been decided to close it, says Minister of Trade and Industry Simon Kollerup (S). This is done to prevent the entire municipality from being hit by a forced closure.
The decision was made on the recommendation of the Epidemic Commission, which advises the government on corona handling, and it was Aalborg’s mayor, Thomas Kastrup-Larsen (S), who asked the Folketing to intervene.
The closure applies from tomorrow and 14 days ahead.
