With Pfizer and Moderna’s EU applications to get a corona vaccine on the market soon, we are one step closer to also getting the vaccine to Denmark.
This is how it sounds from Thomas Senderovitz, who is director of the Danish Medicines Agency.
He tells DR that he expects the vaccines to be approved – and thus the first Danes will be able to be vaccinated already in January 2021, his assessment reads.
When the first vaccines have been approved and delivered to Denmark, citizens at increased risk, ie the elderly, chronic patients and other vulnerable people, as well as health and care personnel, will be given priority first.
