Emmanuel JB Danquah, also known as Sony Achiba, the (Oseikrom Prince Charles) and Hip-Dia man was born and raised in Kumasi- Ashanti Region to Mr. JB Danquah and Madam Akua Fremah. He is a Ghanaian born based in the United Kingdom, at the moment.
Sony Achiba A.K.A. “Hip-Dia man” has officially release video for his smash hit song Nipa Boniayefour. This song was from his album “Indian Ocean 1 & 2” released around 2000, this song “Nipa Boniayefour” which literally means “Ungrateful Person”. When Hip Life was the main Genre back in the days, lots of artists made “Sub Genres” from it. Some even called their sub-genre Hip-Cont but the India Man called his Hip-Dia which is a combination of Hip Life and India.
Sony Achiba surprisingly became almost everyone’s favourite when he introduced his “New Style”. His videos were all fun to watch as he displayed the Indian dance and wore Indian traditional wears. When you watch his videos, what you see is a Hindi Movie!
After 23 years of realsing the audio for Nipa Boniayefo), Sony decided to go back to the archive to shoot a proper music video for one of his smashing hit songs.
According to him, Humans have never changed, they are and will be the same as they have been. I thought releasing this song 16 years ago will bring some change to human life but i lied, things has become soo bad that, trusting humans this days has become very difficult, he said!
Sony Achiba is assuring Ghanaian’s that, he is back into the music business and not going anywhere. He promised to drop back to back music from now.
