Second Day In A Row Without Corona Deaths In Denmark

Closes Corona Ward

The number of admissions has decreased by one.

No coronas infected have died in the last 24 hours in Denmark, according to the new figures from Statens Serum Institut.

It’s the second day in a row – and the third time this week that no corona deaths have been recorded at home.

Thus, the death toll remains at 561.

The fact that zero people have been registered as deceased since yesterday does not necessarily mean that no one has died during the past 24 hours . There may be a delay in registration.

Coronavirus is not necessarily the cause of death, although deaths are included in the inventory. Anyone who has died within 30 days of a positive test will count.

Fewer on intensive and in respirator

The number of inmates has dropped again – from 119 yesterday to 118 today.

The same applies to the figures for inpatients on intensive and in respirators, who also take a dive downwards. Yesterday, 23 were on intensive care, including 19 in respirators – today the numbers are 19 in intensive and 16 in respirator.

In Denmark, we have had 11,289 confirmed coronary infections – an increase of 59 since yesterday.

Of the total number of infected, 9,836 are thought to have survived their infection. This means that 14 days after a positive corona test is not hospitalized or dead, and is therefore presumed to be in recovery.

The last few weeks have gone the right way with coronavirus in Denmark. The number of inmates has fallen steadily since it peaked on April 1, when 535 were admitted, including 146 in the intensive care unit.
