Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) today presented a number of new restrictions to curb corona infection in Denmark.
At the same time, a number of already existing restrictions are being extended. For example, the assembly ban on ten people is extended until 28 February.
Here are the new restrictions:
From Wednesday, a partial closure will be introduced until 3 January in 38 municipalities, including Copenhagen, Odense and Aarhus.
School students from 5th to 9th grade are sent home where they are to receive distance learning. The same applies to high school students, students in higher education and courses.
Swimming pools, gyms and fitness centers are closing. The same goes for all amateur sports.
Restaurants are closing.
However, restaurants are allowed to offer take-away food.
In addition, private companies are encouraged to send employees home.
