Marwan Abboud compares the explosion in the Lebanese capital to the atomic explosions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
Early in the evening local time, a violent explosion occurred in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
At least 25 people are reported killed while 2,500 are injured, the country’s health minister said.
Images from the video show extensive destruction, and the city’s governor, Marwan Abboud, broke down in tears when he spoke to Lebanese media a short time ago.
