Georgia’s president, Salome Zourabichvili, wants the country’s Supreme Court to annul the controversial law passed by parliament in May. The law has been dubbed the ‘Russian law’ by its critics, as it is, according to them, inspired by Russia.

The law requires organizations that receive more than 20 percent of their funding from abroad to register as “foreign agents.”
In May, the president vetoed the law, but it was overruled by parliament.
