For the first time in 11 years, the European Space Agency ( ESA ) is applying for the position of astronaut.
They must work side by side with the astronauts already trained when ‘Europe enters a new era of space exploration’, reads a press release .
ESA especially encourages women to apply, as the organization wants greater diversity among astronauts.
If you are interested, you must have a scientific or technical background to get into the game.
Danish Andreas Mogensen is today one of ESA ‘s seven active astronauts.
