When the animal keepers will have to give in the future predator food in the Ree Park, the animals must be locked in another room before the passers-by can enter the cage.
It happens after an animal keeper in April was attacked by a cheetah when he had to feed it. It writes Fagbladet 3F.
The animal keeper was torn and bitten on the arms, shoulders and legs before a colleague pulled him out of the cage. Subsequently, he was picked up by an ambulance and driven to the hospital, where he was sewn up and given antibiotics.
The animal caretaker – or other employees in Ree Park – must therefore never enter the cheetah facilities again, states director of Ree Park, Jesper Stagegaard, to Fagbladet 3F.
