In Sweden, covid-19 was the third most common cause of death in the first six months of 2020 – surpassed only by cardiovascular disease and cancer.
It appears from a statistic from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare according to SVT .
In the past, cardiovascular disease, together with cancer, has accounted for a clear majority of registered deaths in Sweden.
So far, 6164 people have died from coronavirus in Sweden.
