The government is presenting a major proposal to ensure more education throughout the country, among other things by cutting back on the places in the large study cities.
Hillerød and Svendborg each receive a teacher education.
Thisted and Sønderborg must have a mechanical engineering education.
And you must again be able to take the pedagogue education in Holbæk.
These are some of the proposals in the government’s proposal to create 25 new educational institutions in provincial towns to strengthen the smaller communities and distribute the students more evenly across the country.
The proposal comes with less than half a year for the local elections and has been named “Closer – more educations and strong local communities.”
Crop squares in big cities
With the prestige project, the government will give more young people opportunities to study or educate themselves without necessarily having to move to one of the four major study cities, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense and Aalborg.
