A former after-school employee has been sentenced to 40 days of unconditional imprisonment at the Court in Herning for indecent assault on a 12-year-old boy.
He is also denied the right to deal with children at work and in connection with leisure activities for two years, writes Ritzau.
The 28-year-old man was found guilty by a unanimous jury of having groped the 12-year-old boy in the crotch without his clothes on. According to the indictment, it happened last November at a school in Herning.
He was accused of violating a total of eight children between the ages of six and 12, but the court acquitted him of violating the other seven children.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to all charges.
