On Monday when it is time for classes at Firehøjeskolen in Vejle Municipality, it is again possible to see children in school in crop tops that show belly skin.
After a school board meeting, the school has decided to withdraw the controversial ban on crop tops.
This is confirmed by Vejle Municipality in a press release
It is the school management that must set the framework for the teaching, but according to the Folkeskole Act, the school board sets principles and rules of order for the school. That has not been the case in this particular case, and it is, of course, regrettable. The school board has now discussed the matter, and we agree that there should be no rules for how students should dress during school hours, says acting school board chairman at Firehøjeskolen, Mads Thomsen.
