The school party has been spared at Grønvangskolen in Vejen. The students can no longer go on a camp trip either, unless there are a handful of parents from the class who want to take care of it.
The local school board joins the chorus of parents who cry out across the country about the poor finances in primary schools .
Now frontwoman for Vejen Lärerkreds Sabine Lolk Vibild is hoping for change from the politicians in Christiansborg.
– It may sound like it’s whipped cream, but it’s actually really important for the students to grow as a group, she says.
– After all, it is our children who will be the losers.
