Aalborg Municipality had to find 50 volunteers for the EU polling stations

When the cross is to be set tomorrow for the European Parliament elections, it is no longer only volunteers from the political parties who guide the voters to the right ballot boxes.

In Aalborg Municipality, it has been necessary to find volunteer election representatives themselves. This is what election officer Søren Thorst says.

– The parties have found it more difficult to obtain the number of election deputies that they have to deliver to the polling stations, and therefore we have had to find volunteers elsewhere, he says.

However, it has not been difficult for the municipality to find volunteers, says Søren Thorst.
